"messiah" is an original concept and story by me dealing with cults, religion, psychology, and more!!!!!
bianca, a lower-class, unhappy 19-year-old girl, finds herself alone after being kicked out of her childhood home for (currently) undisclosed reasons. finding herself in the middle of a mysterious park, bianca meets a young man named adrian and follows him to a commune run by a woman named ruth. searching for his sister, bianca's twin leon invites the help of best friend beckham and hometown letdown harley to discover where the depressed teen went.
"messiah" has no defined time period for its setting, nor does it have any known location, season, et cetera. the ambiguity of the series is what i find most interesting, and is (sadly) inspired by riverdale's ambiguous set design. i also take inspiration from the film "bring her back" (2025), the show "twin peaks" (1990-91, 2017), and my personal religious fascinations.
